This Privacy Policy explains how Status Hub ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application. Status Hub provides Status Saver, Status Maker, Sticker Maker, Fancy Text Generator, Emoji Text, and Direct Chat tools.

By using Status Hub, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Status Hub is designed to work primarily on your device without requiring you to create an account. We may access or process the following:

  • Storage / Media Access: To save, view, and let you download status images and videos from supported apps (such as WhatsApp), and to let you select photos/videos for the Status Maker and Sticker Maker tools.
  • Camera (optional): If you choose to take a new photo directly within the Sticker Maker or Status Maker tool.
  • Device and Usage Information: Basic technical data such as device model, operating system version, app version, and crash/diagnostic logs, used to improve app stability and performance.
  • Advertising Identifiers: If the App displays ads, an advertising ID may be used by our ad partners to show relevant ads (see Section 4).

We do not require you to sign up with your name, email, or phone number to use the core features of the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate core features (saving statuses, creating statuses/stickers, generating fancy/emoji text)
  • To improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features
  • To display advertisements that help keep the App free to use
  • To respond to support requests sent to our contact email

3. Direct Chat Feature

The Direct Chat tool allows you to start a chat with a phone number without saving it to your contacts. This feature opens the relevant messaging app (such as WhatsApp) using its official link format. We do not store, read, or have access to the content of any chats started this way — the conversation happens entirely within the third-party messaging app, which has its own privacy policy.

4. Third-Party Services

Status Hub may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you, including but not limited to:

  • Google AdMob (or similar ad networks) — for displaying ads within the App
  • Google Analytics / Firebase — for basic app usage analytics and crash reporting

5. Data Storage and Security

Status content you save or create using the App is stored locally on your device. We do not upload your saved statuses, created stickers, or personal media to our own servers. We take reasonable measures to protect any data that is processed, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Status Hub is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Your Choices

  • You can disable storage/camera permissions at any time through your device settings, though this may limit certain features.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings (Settings → Google → Ads on Android).
  • You can uninstall the App at any time to stop all data collection associated with it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
